Summary

Brent is a technology executive who has worked in all sized companies from start-ups to large, publicly-traded corporations. He re-located to Napa after working in San Francisco Bay Area for 15 years. Brent helped build technology companies from the ground up, innovated solutions for fortune 100 companies while working at an international creative agency, and helped re-invent the media industry as it was transformed by the digital evolution.

Brent is able to tackle the most complicated technology challenges with a common sense approach and provide solutions that meet budget, time and quality constraints while exceeding expected outcomes.     Product Development: Defined requirements for initial product development which was built by a third party. Subsequently built entirely new proprietary platform and migrated all applications in-house.

    Principal duties include:
    Personnel: As the first in-house Software Engineer hired by TradePoint Solutions, I was responsible for defining the requirements of a fledgling engineering department and for growing the team to ten people.

    Development Environment: Built systems for source control, release processes, QA, automated data import/export, production maintenance support, and multi-version release cycles.

    Product Development: Designed, developed and deployed SaaS application. In 12 months the application went from a prototype pilot application to a fully functioning software application including automated daily data updates, reports and notifications.
